One of my favorite memories in a yummy chewy roll. My mom would make this with spaghetti and we loved it. So much that many times we would just eat it by itself with some marinara sauce.

I love it when I have to make food - desserts in particular. Like for an event. Or a party. Or just a church get-together.

Anyway, I made this yummy cherry loaf cake on Saturday for our Sunday picnic. I wanted something with cherries, but not just a cherry pound cake. I wanted it to have subtle spices in it. And this is what I came up with.
