Today in Belarus is "Women's Day" - it's kind of like Mother's Day, only it celebrates all women. Which is cool for me since I'm not a mother : ) On this holiday most businesses are closed and women aren't suppose to cook or do housework.

I thought that I could continue my flower series since today everybody gives flowers and candy to the women.

Ales and I like to be abnormal and so we are celebrating tomorrow by going to the opera : ) Should be fun.

We also had a celebration at church on Sunday to celebrate the women; we had yummy food and we all got roses. I am slowly overcoming my fear of sticking my camera in other people's faces so I took quite a few pictures which I'll post tomorrow.

So to all of the women in my life - thank you for being you! : )
