Ales and I are celebrating Valentine's Day tomorrow since the 14th is on Sunday and of course there is church, and also a Valentine's get-together there as well. But we wanted to celebrate on our own and tried to go see Romeo and Juliet (a ballet) but it was sold out, so the other option was the opera, which is tomorrow. I haven't actually been to an opera before, just the ballet once, so I'm hoping it will hold up to the "aura" I'm imagining. Either way, I'm sure it will be wonderful because it will be with my Valentine! |

| I'm also excited to dress up, as I have two gorgeous pairs of heels in my closet that haven't seen much light of day here : ) Not exactly practical for walking a lot, which I do more of (when I actually get out ;)). Although every other girl in Minsk seems to wear 3-inch heels everyday, but sadly my arches can't hold under that much pressure. |

| So what are your Valentine's Day plans? Any surprises for your sweetheart? Or do you think the holiday is a silly and over-used cliche? |

Maybe it is, but I'd rather look at the up side of it and think of it as opportunity to spend some quality time with my Baby : ) Hope you have a wonderful Heart's day, no matter what you do or where you are! xoxo Em |
